Have you been meaning to get involved in the LGBT community? Come learn how to volunteer with the DC Center! Our next training will be held on Saturday July 28th from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. This training is required for all new front desk volunteers and encouraged for all current front desk volunteers. Other DC Center volunteers are also welcome to participate in this training.
Volunteering at the Front Desk
Front Desk volunteers work at the front desk during our normal operating hours and answer phones, welcome visitors, and assist in other duties as necessary. Front Desk Volunteers may also help those who want to check out books from the library, oversee the cybercenter, and provide referrals to local community resources or answer questions about the DC Center services or programs.
