Last year for Gay Men's HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, The DC Center awarded some deserving community members with awards recognizing the work they do for gay men relating to HIV/AIDS. This year we'd also like to recognize some very helpful community members.

The DC Center's 2012 Gay Men's HIV/AIDS Awareness Day Reception will be on Monday, September 24th at 7PM at The DC Center (1318 U ST NW). We will be thanking the bars, clubs, and other local businesses that have been helping us fight HIV in DC by distributing FUK!Ts (our safer sex kits) at their locations around town. During this reception with food and beverages, we will present a plaque to be hung at The DC Center with these businesses listed, thanking them for the opportunities they have provided us to distribute safer sex kits around the DC area.

Please come help us celebrate these local businesses that helped us do good in the community. They include Town, JR's, Cobalt, Green Lantern, Secrets and Remingtons.
