LGBTQ couples counseling, sex therapy, and individual relationship therapy. I specialize in helping gay, lesbian, transgender, queer, and other couples create healthier relationships, improve communication, strengthen sexual intimacy, increase trust, and resolve other issues.
Working together, I can help you and your partner resolve problems that may seem overwhelming and guide you in creating the relationship you want, based on your needs rather than on the norms or expectations of others.
You’ll find an affirming, supportive environment and strategies to enable you to live your life together more fully and joyfully. Clients have told me that my warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative approach helps them feel comfortable working through difficult issues. Poly and kink-friendly.

At our practice, we focus on a holistic mental health approach. We achieve this not by just focusing on traditional psychotherapy, but also through means such as massage therapy, acupuncture, and nutritional services. We offer all of these in a safe, comforting environment with a truly caring staff.

For nearly two decades I have been privileged to work alongside parents, children, adolescents and adults of all ages to understand the deeper meanings of troubling thoughts, feelings and behaviors and other symptoms of distress. My collaborative approach is grounded in enhancing personal growth and the innate human capacities for loving, giving, healing painful traumas, and increasing enjoyment of one’s life. The therapeutic relationships I facilitate are empowering, respectful, caring, and support the freedom to fully express one’s experience, uniqueness, vitality, and engagement of the depth and breadth of human existence.
Clients in my practice gain new awareness regarding their difficulties, increase autonomy and authentic ways of being, experience deeper meaning in their lives, and develop healthier and more effective ways of engaging life challenges.
I endeavor to improve intimate and family relationships, strengthen parent-child/teenager relationships; understand the nature of one’s anxiety and depression; grief, loss, and trauma; improving self-esteem; effectively managing job stress and improving job performance; addressing personal and societal struggles with racial & gender discrimination, gender identity & diversity, and sexual orientation. I also provide compassionate, affirmative therapy with the kink, poly, and pro-sex communities.

As a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) with more than twenty years of experience, one thing I have learned is that we are all doing the best we can and sometimes we just need a little help. Wherever you are in your journey, I offer compassionate and affirming counseling and support.
Adults often consult with me for help making sense of their relationships with friends, partner, and family. Managing stress, anxiety, self-doubt, and sadness are also issues we can work on together. I also consult with parents and families who may need help connecting with their child/teen or young adult. Specialized services are also offered for parents & families and their gender-expansive/trans children, teens and young adults.
As an individual, couple and family systems therapist I specialize in transitions across the life cycle. Please reach out by text, phone or email so we can talk about how I can help you.
Each of us is here with a unique gift to be named, claimed and celebrated. My work helps you discover and release whatever prevents the full expression of that gift, so that you can access your power and joy, which resets an inner compass to your highest destiny
I have 26 years experience working with couples, individuals, families and groups. I have personal and professional experience dealing with the challenges of being gay, lesbian, transgendered, polyamorous, kink, etc. I deeply appreciate the courage it takes to forge a path that is authentic, kind and generative. I believe our sexuality is a precious and essential expression of who we are, and treat it as such in my work.
After 25 years, I masterfully translate spiritual, psychological and shamanic wisdom into practical tools, and I transmit an energy of deep compassion blended with fierce knowing. I believe we are both wounded and are healed in relationship, and I offer you my best in this sacred work.
