The DC Center HIV Working Group invites you to our monthly September meeting where we will be discussing the creation of a city wide DC LGBTQ Health Report. We will be joined by members of the DC Center Youth Working Group, and all interested community members are welcome.

We will be joined by Ivan Torres from the DC Department of Health and the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs has also been invited to join us.

Please come and learn how you can advocate for better LGBTQ health data in DC and learn more about the HIV Working Group.

The HIV Working Group is a volunteer-driven HIV/AIDS outreach, education, and advocacy initiative of The DC Center.

Meetings are held every fourth Wednesday of the month at 6PM at The DC Center (2000 14th Street NW, Suite 105).

Please feel free to come in, learn more about the HIV efforts in DC, get involved with our working group.

  1. Am a 33 year HiV+ survivor. Am very active with WWC, Hope DC.org. Am presently working with the DOH Ryan White Counciling Board. Planning to have a monthly discussion group for Long Term Survivors. Will update when i know more specific. Thank you

    I look forward to attending this meeting on September 27.
    I serve as the senior director of the research department at Whitman-Walker Health and very interested in discussing this report on LGBT Health in DC.
    I am fairly recent transplanted from LA where I worked as a researcher st UCLA and with the LA GLBT Center.
