Join us for the next Health Working Group Meeting where the topic of discussion will be supporting Long Term Survivors of HIV/AIDS.
Powerful HIV drugs now make it possible for people living with HIV to live far longer lives than could have been imagined before effective HIV treatment became available. Long term survivor are those who have lived with HIV for many years. Many of these individuals (but not all) are older adults. Please feel free to come in, discuss health issues with long term survivors with HIV and get involved with our working group!
The Health Working Group is a volunteer-driven LGBT health outreach, education, and advocacy initiative of The DC Center.
Meetings are held every fourth Wednesday of the month at 6:30PM at The DC Center (2000 14th Street NW, Suite 105).
