Many Voices: A Black Church Movement for Gay & Transgender Justice is holding the 5th Annual Celebrating the Soul of Justice worship service on Thursday, September 28, 2017. The theme this year is Our Love Awakening. There has never been a more urgent time to express God’s unconditional love for ALL. This year already, over 18 beloved transgender friends in our country were lost. There have been threats to ban trans service members in the military and efforts to roll back progress on equality in the courts. Charlottesville has awakened us anew to the deep fissures in our nation around racial bias and hatred.  Rev. Dr. Ronald E. Hopson, Associate Professor of Psychology and Divinity at Howard University and a leading voice on sexuality and the Black Church, will be sharing a message of grace and love.
