Do you identify as a trans woman of color?  Are you at least 18 years old & do you live in the Washington DC?  The STROBE study may be for you!

STROBE DC is a research study sponsored by Johns Hopkins which partnered with the DC Center, and we have a study team of two other faculty (Johns Hopkins and American University) as well as three community interviewers. The goal of the study is to learn more about how to prevent HIV among transgender women of color in Baltimore and DC. It includes an hour-long interview followed by a rapid oral HIV test. Participants receive $50 for being in the study and $10 for transportation. Both are paid using a pre-paid visa gift card. We will have a Spanish-speaking interviewer for people who feel more comfortable in that language. We’ve attached a shareable flyer. This study is safe and approved by The DC Center. See you there!!!
