UPDATE: MPD REPORTS THAT LaKeisha has been located.
LGBT Activist LaKeisha Washington was reported missing to the MPD on December 3rd. Keisha was last seen on November 29th on the Unit Block of Galveston Place, SW.
In 2014 LaKeisha challenged discrimination against transgender women at the John L. Young Center for Homeless Women. LaKeisha, the DC Trans Coalition, DC Trans Coalition attorney Jeffrey Light were successful in forcing the shelter to end their policy of excluding transgender women.
