We are excited to announce that the Forty to None Project has officially launched! Since its creation in 2008, the True Colors Fund and its co-founder Cyndi Lauper have been advocating and raising awareness about the fact that no young person deserves to be homeless, let alone because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

"The Red Hot Party"
The Red Hot Party is the official event welcoming young people to the 2012 International AIDS Conference, hosted by Red Hot and Advocates for Youth. The event serves to recognize the importance of youth leadership in the global response to HIV and AIDS, celebrate their achievements, and honor the YouthForce, a coalition of organizations working to prioritize youth issues and foster youth engagement at the International AIDS Conferences. more info here

The next Youth Working Group Meeting will be held on Monday July 9th at 6:00pm at The DC Center (1318 U Street, NW). The Youth Working Group is a gathering of people who are committed to positively impacting the lives of DC area youth. You should attend this meeting if you would like to help think of ways to better serve our youth and also implement new programs for (and with) them. .find out more
National Strategy for Black Gay Youth to Present at GMHS National Strategy for Black Gay Youth to Present Workshop at GMHS
The aim of the National Strategy is to improve the quality of the lives of black gay youth living in the United States. By organizing those 25 years of age and younger (alongside elected officials and youth serving agencies), who want to take part in positive activities and gain support that will improve their condition of life, to help develop and improve their physical (health), mental, emotional, social and educational well being.
