The OutWrite Book Fair is a weekend full of book readings, book vendors, book discussions, poetry readings and more. We have both new and used LGBT themed books and magazines for sale all day long. In addition to book vendors, the DC Center has a large number of used LGBT books for sale. OutWrite always takes place the first weekend in August. CuentaCuentos CuentaCuentos is a unique partnership between the OutWrite LGBT Book Festival and the nearby 14th and U St. Farmers Market. Following the many Latina and Latino storytelling traditions, CuentaCuentos is a bilingual Latin@ Poetry and Short Narrative Public Reading taking place at the 14th and U St. Farmers Market. find out more about this event. |
