Your career is a vital and central part of your life. But still just a part. It needs to work in the context of other parts of your life: your relationships, your priorities, your material circumstances, and, most importantly, your inner “self.” As a therapist, marriage counselor, ex-businessman, and coach I am perhaps uniquely able to help move you in a direction that meets all of the above needs, not simply one that “makes sense” given your previous experience or in response to whatever testing results you may have obtained.
Are you ready to…
- Find a new job, and need to focus and structure your job search?
- Advance in your current job, and seek a career “oil change” with an objective sounding board?
- Make your mark in a new job (congrats!), and want guidance on how to hit the ground running?
Get a better return on the time you would otherwise spend browsing through Indeed or reading fluffy “thinkpieces” on LinkedIn (trust me, I’ve been there).

Personally, I’ve always been a listening ear, counsel, and confidant. After years of doing great work, yet still unfulfilled, I chose to develop that which is innate within me, while still making a difference in someone’s life and the world. The path to becoming a life coach was an absolutely transformative experience, and I’m here to share that magic with my clients.
As a coach, I work with my clients to not only articulate and achieve their goals, but to excel and shine while doing so. My clients and I mine their values to uncover what’s truly meaningful to them, and honor it. I help clients navigate career change, major life transitions like big moves and relationship ruptures, medical issues, business growth, stifled creativity, and even just living a stable, balanced life in this fucked up world where everything is questionable. I can coach my client on whatever they need in order to live their best life. I call this value-based living. In addition to value-based living, my practice also focuses on two niche areas: gender & sexuality and diversity & inclusion in the workplace, and I’m happy to share more about those if you think they are applicable to your or an acquaintance’s life or workplace.
The coaching work I do is focused on two areas: Integral Life Coaching, a powerful form of coaching aimed at personal and professional growth and development. It’s grounded in the notion that when people live and act in a more balanced and holistic way (an integral way), they are much more likely to function optimally in the world; End of Life Coaching is coaching that’s focused upon working with those who are dying (and their families) as well as with those who are grieving the death of another or a loss in their life (marriage, job, beloved pet). As with all coaching, it involves partnering with the client on his or her unique journey.
Kevin Bliss is a certified as both an Integral Professional Coach and End of Life Coach. He comes to coaching out of a 30-year career in energy law and policy. He holds B.A., J.D. and LL.M. degrees.
