Stanton graduated from The University of Texas in Austin with a B.S. in Advertising. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, working out and hanging out with his basset best friends, Buster and Clark.
Kevin Brunell has been an involved resident of his 14th Street neighborhood for over 7 years, and brings the deep knowledge and experience necessary to find the best properties for his clients and assist in their real estate needs across the DMV. As an active member in his field, Kevin has served on the Public Policy Committee at DCAR, and as Board President for The Wanda Alston Foundation. Kevin’s involvement in his local community extends to his personal interests, which include Bikram Yoga, Transcendental Meditation, rowing, running, hiking, traveling around the world, and pursuing his private pilot’s license.

John was born and raised in Oklahoma, attended college in Nashville, Tennessee and finally chose Washington, DC as his adopted hometown in 2000. Seeking a wide breadth of professional experiences, John worked in the banking, small business management, and IT fields before finding his career passion in helping people buy and sell real estate.

John began his real estate career with Coldwell Banker where he quickly rose to be one of the top-producing agents in the firm. With over $46 million in sales volume since 2012, John has experience representing clients in transactions throughout the DC metro area.
In 2015, John & Christopher Bulka founded Bulka/Peters Residential, and affiliated their new business with Compass to bring unmatched technology and marketing resources to their clients as a complement to the first-rate customer service philosophy they both share.
Outside of work, John loves to travel and has visited over 30 countries across the world and lived in the south of France for one year. John’s other hobbies include cooking, dining out & collecting locally handcrafted art pieces each place he visits. John lives in a historic Victorian home in DC’s Bloomingdale neighborhood with his partner Jonathan. Jonathan would like to get a dog but John thinks they work too much. Stay tuned.

Upon graduating from The College of Wooster in 2001 with a double major in Urban Studies and Studio Art, Kevin started working in real estate in the Metro DC Area. He has had an invaluable array of real estate marketing and sales experience with top brokers ever since: first with an established agent in one of the highest-volume offices in Bethesda, then for a top-producing partnership in the Mid-Atlantic and finally with the highest-grossing listing agent in Georgetown before joining the Trent & Company team. Whether selling single-family homes in suburban Maryland, coops, and condos in Kalorama and Upper NW or row houses in Logan and Dupont, Kevin has had a varied real estate history in and around DC.

Jeff Taylor is a Realtor Associate with 12 years of real estate sales experience. He began his real estate career in Texas, with a focus on residential sales and commercial property management. After relocating to Washington, D.C., his passion for real estate grew, as did his love for the city, the architecture, and the people. Jeffrey has been featured in Washington Life and The Washington Post for historic condominium sales and rentals in Dupont Circle, Logan Circle and Shaw – where he resides. David Getson grew up in northern Virginia, near to his eventual home in Washington, DC’s Logan neighborhood. In 2002, he began as a buyer’s agent at a Coldwell Banker office in Washington, DC, distinguishing himself with the personal attention with which he showed his clients. In 2005, after a year of conversations and transactions where the represented clients on different sides of the table, he partnered with a local agent at a competing firm, Mandy Mills, and joined the brand new boutique agency, Hounshell Real Estate.

Greg’s $200M+ portfolio includes some of DC’s most sought after residential buildings, which include: The Floridian, The National Harbor, The Woodley Wardman, The Vue at Harbor East, and dozens of boutique 2-6 unit projects throughout the city. Greg is an active member of “The Backpack Project”, which provides backpacks to underserved children in Washington, DC. He is also an active member of Chesapeake Bay Preservation.
Bob is a genuine D.C.-area native. He was born in Alexandria and has lived in Northern Virginia ever since. Bob’s approach to real estate is to always go the extra mile. He keeps up-to-date on all of the latest technology for expanding the reach of listings and finding the best properties—if there is a new piece of technology out there, chances are Bob has it and is feverishly putting it to work for his delighted clients in Virginia, D.C., and Maryland. When he does, temporarily, step away from the screen, Bob is somewhere outdoors biking, hiking, skiing, or kayaking.
Jay is native Mississippian but has called Washington, DC his home for the past 18 years. He fell in love with real estate after buying his condo in Adams Morgan in 1999. Even though the search was over, he kept attending open houses and exploring developing neighborhoods. Eventually, he found himself spending his weekends helping friends find places to live. So he decided to transition from a career in public relations and television to real estate.
After working several years with another brokerage, Jay joined Compass in 2015, believing the resources offered by Compass would complement his own skills as an agent and help him better serve his clients.
One of Jay’s passions is photography and he loves taking photos around the city. You might also catch him singing at Shaw’s Tavern on Wednesday nights.
