Due to continuing COVID-19 safety concerns, we are meeting remotely via Zoom. We would love for you to join us. For security reasons we now ask that community members reach out to us via email for the Zoom info. Send us a quick email to: supportdesk@thedccenter.org.

The DC Anti-Violence Project (formerly known as GLOV) meetings occur monthly on the 4th Thursdays, 7-8pm.
NOTE: In November and December, we meet a week earlier, due to Thanksgiving and Winter holiday breaks.

DCAVP meetings are open to all, and we would love to see anyone who is interested in learning more and getting involved in lessening violence both within and directed towards the LGBTQ+ communities.

The primary mission of the DC Anti-Violence Project is to address and reduce violence against LGBTQ+ individuals (and those perceived as LGBTQ+) through counseling, community outreach, education, and monitoring cases to ensure that the rights and dignity of LGBTQ+ victims are respected and protected. The DCAVP also seeks to assist victims of anti-LGBTQ+ violence by advocating on their behalf, encouraging reporting, and providing a community of support.
