DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe DC Anti-Violence Project (formerly known as GLOV) meets
  via Zoom. Meetings are open to those seeking support and community around
  taking a stand against anti-LGBTQIA+ violence. Email supportdesk@thedccen
 ter.org for the Zoom link.\n\nThe primary mission of the DC Anti-Violence 
 Project is to reduce violence against LGBTQIA+ individuals (and those perc
 eived as LGBTQIA+) through community outreach\, education\, and monitoring
  cases to ensure that the rights and dignity of LGBTQIA+ survivors of viol
 ence and abuse are respected and protected. The DC Anti-Violence Project a
 lso seeks to assist survivors of anti-LGBTQIA+ violence by advocating on t
 heir behalf\, encouraging reporting\, and providing a community of support
 .\n\n\n\n\nDCAVP meetings usually occur on the 4th Thursdays of the month\
 , moving to the 3rd Thursdays in November and December due to the holidays
