 _____________________________\n\nGay District is a community-based organiz
 ation focused on building understanding of gay culture and personal identi
 ty\, awareness of community events and civil rights for gay\, bi\, trans\,
  queer\, questioning and inter-sexed (GBTQQI) men between the ages of 18 a
 nd 35 in the Washington\, DC metropolitan area.\n\nThrough a synthesis of 
 interpersonal interaction and community involvement\, we aim to promote a 
 more productive GBTQQ community and an enlightened understanding of gay ur
 ban living. In addition\, we believe that our program will encourage them 
 to become more active in the social justice arena. We strive to reach our 
 mission through facilitated discussions\, and regular and ongoing happy ho
 urs\, weekend outings\, community and cultural events\, volunteer opportun
 ities\, and other occasions created by and for our participants.\n\nJoin G
 ay District on the first and third Fridays of each month for a facilitated
  group discussion. The meetings begin at 8:00 PM at the DC Center for the 
 LGBT Community. After the meeting\, members often head out for dinner toge
