 ____________________________\n\nGay District is a community-based organiza
 tion focused on building understanding of gay culture and personal identit
 y\, awareness of community events and civil rights for gay\, bi\, trans\, 
 queer\, questioning and inter-sexed (GBTQQI) men between the ages of 18 an
 d 35 in the Washington\, DC metropolitan area.\n\nThrough a synthesis of i
 nterpersonal interaction and community involvement\, we aim to promote a m
 ore productive GBTQQ community and an enlightened understanding of gay urb
 an living. In addition\, we believe that our program will encourage them t
 o become more active in the social justice arena. We strive to reach our m
 ission through facilitated discussions\, and regular and ongoing happy hou
 rs\, weekend outings\, community and cultural events\, volunteer opportuni
 ties\, and other occasions created by and for our participants.\n\nWhile t
 he DC Center is closed to help slow the spread of COVID-19\, join Gay Dist
 rict weekly on Saturday evenings for a facilitated group discussion. The m
 eetings begin at 8:00 PM using Zoom. Please email supportdesk@thedccenter.
