DESCRIPTION:The Center will be closed in observance of the Christmas holida
 y. All programs are cancelled.\nNormal operating hours and programming wil
 l resume on Monday\, January 4\, 2021.\nWe are closed to let staff members
  spend more time with their loved ones.\n&nbsp\;\n\nDue to COVID-19 \, we

 ay District is a community-based organization focused on building understa
 nding of gay culture and personal identity\, awareness of community events
  and civil rights for gay\, bi\, trans\, queer\, questioning and inter-sex
 ed (GBTQQI) men between the ages of 18 and 35 in the Washington\, DC metro
 politan area.\n\nThrough a synthesis of interpersonal interaction and comm
 unity involvement\, we aim to promote a more productive GBTQQ community an
 d an enlightened understanding of gay urban living. In addition\, we belie
 ve that our program will encourage them to become more active in the socia
 l justice arena. We strive to reach our mission through facilitated discus
 sions\, and regular and ongoing happy hours\, weekend outings\, community 
 and cultural events\, volunteer opportunities\, and other occasions create
