 hion and portrait photographer who specializes in creating intimate\, crea
 tive\, and beautiful portraits. Julian honed his photographic skills by 
 self-taught growing up since he received his first camera from his grandpa
  before studying and graduated at Art Institute for photography. His photo
 graphs have energized the cover and glossy pages of Metro Weekly magazine 
 for nearly a decade.\nJulian spent many years experimenting and using his 
 knowledge of studio lighting and his understanding of the colors\, texture
 \, and concept of each to bring exceptional photos for the subject to enjo
 y\, share and cherish.\n\nOn October 2nd at 7pm at The DC Center\nwe welco
 me\nPhotographer Julian Vankim\nto his reception and artist talk.\nAll att
 endees will be required to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19
  or a negative test within the past 72 hours along with a matching photo I
 D. Proof of vaccination can be a physical vaccine card or a photo of the v
 accine card.   \nAll attendees are to wear their mask if not eating or d
