The Capital Area Rainbowlers Association (CARA) is a member-supported organization composed of gay and lesbian bowling leagues in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. CARA serves to promote the sport of bowling in the national capital area’s LGBT community.

(National) The Gay and Lesbian Victory fund is the nation’s largest LGBT political action committee and the only national organization dedicated to increasing the number of openly LGBT elected officials at all levels of government. The Victory Fund and its national donor network have helped hundreds of openly LGBT candidates win elections to local, state and federal offices.

The BI Men Network is a free worldwide social & support organization for bi men, bi-curious males, gay men, and bi couples. Local discussion forums are available. We provide resources, information, events, and personals for our membership. Today bisexuals are estimated to represent 10-20% of the adult population. Our motto is:

The vision of Mary’s House is to create independent, communal housing for older adults that eliminates the intense isolation experienced due to aging, subtle and not so subtle discrimination and intolerance based on one’s sexual/gender identity or orientation.

Bi & Lesbian Married Women, formerly a subgroup of Bi Network DC (BNDC), is a list to provide online social space and support for queer women who are married, in long-term relationships with men, or who are contemplating such a relationship. Its purpose is to create a forum for women who need support, but who don’t live in the DC metro area or who feel that DCBLMW’s social activities don’t give them a space for discussing their issues and relationships.
