Are you bilingual or multilingual? Interested in language interpretation? Want to learn more about language justice?
Join our workshop and hone your interpretation skills! This 3 hour workshop will focus on skills-building and practice on interpretation, and will offer an introduction to language justice framework. The workshop will be co-facilitated by professional interpreters, Salem Acuña and Catalina Nieto, and is hosted by Center Latinx at the DC Center for the LGBT Community. Participant preference will be given to LGBTQI people of color.
The workshop is free and lunch will be provided!
