HIV/AIDS

The HIV Working Group is a volunteer-driven HIV/AIDS outreach, education, and advocacy initiative of The DC Center.  The participants range from professionals and field experts to community members effected and/or affected by this epidemic.  The HIV Working Group meets monthly at the DC Center.  Through our monthly meetings we plan all aspects of prevention, education and advocacy to be incorporated our center and the work we are committed to.  Our initiatives include the FUK!T Condom Distribution program, the new BePrEPed app for PrEP information and resources.  We are also focused on improving the lives of long term survivors and creating a space and movement that is focused on equal access to prevention and care for all.
