My intention is to help you support your own well-being, health, and happiness with the tools you acquire through our wellness and counseling services. As a licensed acupuncturist, clinical psychologist and counselor, I have provided integrative, holistic practices in acupuncture, body therapy, life/wellness coaching, and counseling since the 1980s, and have been cited in Washingtonian Magazine as being among the most highly regarded practitioners in my field. I see you as a whole person instead of merely a set of symptoms, working with you to cultivate and support your inner self-regulating mechanisms that help to maintain harmony in your well-being, health, and personal and professional relationships.

In psychotherapy, I provide a calm, welcoming setting to give you space to explore your feelings, emotions and behaviors, gain awareness, process problems, develop practical coping techniques, and help increase your capacity for growth and wellness. In couples therapy and relationship counseling, I help you and your partner find better ways to talk to each other, discover effective methods to help you decrease contention, and to build a solid relationship foundation that can strengthen respect, esteem, fulfillment, intimacy, tenderness, and mutual support.
