Marcia Kuntz is Of Counsel at Kuder, Smollar, Friedman, & Mihalik, PC, which she rejoined in 2012 after years as a legislative counsel and committee staffer on Capitol Hill and as a legal adviser, editor, and executive in the non-profit sector. In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Kuntz teaches Family Law as an adjunct professor at American University Washington College of Law.
Ms. Kuntz started her legal career as an associate at Arnold & Porter, and then moved to Kuder, Smollar, Friedman & Mihalik, PC. While at Kuder, Smollar, Friedman & Mihalik, PC, she also co-taught Sexual Orientation and the Law as an adjunct professor at Georgetown.
Licensed in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia, Ms. Kuntz has significant experience as a negotiator and litigator, handling cases involving a wide variety of issues in Family Law. In her practice she has represented many LGBT clients.
