The DC Trans Pool Party is an independent and public gathering to celebrate the beauty, diversity, and resilience of the trans community in Washington, DC. Our trans community has a lot to celebrate, and what better way to do so than a POOL PARTY???
While pools are traditionally not trans affirming or body positive spaces, we will join together to be visible and proud! We hope you can join us for this joyous gathering, to be in community and make some friends! Please come to fill this space with positive energy and our resilient trans selves.
Non-transgender friends and allies are welcome to attend, but please keep in mind that this space is first and foremost intended for trans folks.

COST: Free for D.C. residents with ID, $7 otherwise
WHAT TO BRING: your coolers, pool wear, and any trans pride flags or other visibility are encouraged but not necessary.
Food: Banneker DOES have a concession stand, and there’s lots of other restaurants and fast food places in walking distance. Sadly, Banneker does not allow outside food or drinks.
