Free Movie Screening: I Am Not Your Negro

Join your favorite DC Mobilization Team for a special screening of the new hit documentary ‘I Am Not Your Negro’! The movie is to start promptly at 7:45 pm; please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to allow for seating. If you happen to arrive after 7:45 pm, your name will be left at will call. To gain entrance into the theater, say that you are with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF for short).
About the film:
In his new film, director Raoul Peck envisions the book James Baldwin never finished – a radical narration about race in America, using the writer’s original words. He draws upon James Baldwin’s notes on the lives and assassinations of Medgar Evers, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King, Jr.
