The Capital Pride Festival is Sunday, June 9th, and we are looking for volunteers to do outreach at our booth from 12 PM to 7 PM. The festival is on Pennsylvania Avenue between 3rd and 7th Streets NW. At our booth, you’ll have the opportunity to reach many members of the community as you tell them about the programs and services that are offered at The DC Center, and how they can get involved in the future. The event is a lot of fun, and you’ll be able to hear the amazing live performances happening not far from us on the Main Stage.
Shifts:
11:45 am – 2:30 pm
2:15 pm – 4:45 pm (fully booked)
4:30pm – 7:00 pm
