You too can fight HIV in DC by volunteering your time to this effort!  We’ll be making safer sex kits and hygiene kits from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  Meet new people, and find out more about the HIV Working Group, Serve DC, and the DC Center.

World AIDS Day is held on December 1st each year and is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died. World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day, held for the first time in 1988.
On December 1, 2016, Mayor Muriel Bowser, announced the release of 90/90/90/50, a plan for ending the HIV epidemic in the District by 2020.
