The LGBT Caucus at Virginia Tech is sponsoring the Third Annual Lavender Commencement Ceremony, which will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 12 in the Old Dominion Ballroom of Squires Student Center. The Mpoderate! program targets gay Latino youth as well as male to female transgender Latino youth. It is fully funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and aims to decrease the epidemic spread of HIV/AIDS within that population.
