The Metropolitan Police Department’s Gay and Lesbian Liaison Unit (GLLU) is staffed by openly lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) members of the department and their allies. Since its inception in June 2000, the GLLU has dedicated itself to serving the LGBT communities in the Washington Metropolitan area and the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Campus Pride represents the only national nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization for student leaders and campus groups working to create a safer college environment for LGBT students. The organization is a volunteer-driven network

Rising Sun Outreach Ministry reaches out to first responders, caregivers, chaplains, and their supporters with hope. We are a church, temple, meeting house in a network of home-based ministries including chaplains in fire service, hospice, hospital, prison, mental institutions, veterans affairs, and government service. When a caregiver is burned out, who do they turn to? We aim to provide a network of resources in counsel, aid, and boots-on-the-ground ministries active in community service.

The Gertrude Stein Democratic Club is the voice of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) Democrats in the District of Columbia. Established in 1976, Gertrude Stein is one of the oldest Democratic clubs in the District and is a founding chapter of the National Stonewall Democrats.

Alpha Psi Kappa is an Non-Profit, Non-Collegiate, Social, and Service Organization for Dominant WoMen. Recruitment for the Fraternity is an ongoing process and we strive to maintain a roster of WoMen that have high ideals and moral standards. The least of our requirements are that you pride yourself on having strong leadership ability, are at least 18 years old, and have a high school diploma, GED, or are enrolled in an institution of higher learning.

Log Cabin Republicans are LGBT Republicans and straight allies who support equality under the law for all, free markets, individual liberty, limited government, and a strong national defense. To achieve a more inclusive GOP, it is important for LGBT Americans to participate in the Republican Party, educating those who fail to understand the need for civil equality and equal protection under the law.

DCMovieBears is a social activity group for gay and bisexual men and their friends in the DC Metropolitan area. We get together every Wednesday night to see a movie at a local movie theatre. We often meet either before the movie for dinner or after for dessert or coffee.
