We are very excited to introduce our 2019/2020 Reading Series.
You will experience local playwrights’ new, unpublished diverse, thought provoking and humorous work performed as a developmental staged reading. The Playwrights look forward to feedback from the audience!
After each reading we will have a Playwright Talkback and a reception with light fare, wine, beer and non alcoholic beverages.
Tickets for each reading is $10.00 and $25.00 for the series.
The 1st reading in the reading series is on Saturday, November 23rd at 7 pm
Crying On Television
R. Eric Thomas
Four strangers; one apartment building; unlimited channels. On the fourth floor, a former reality show contestant is here for the right reasons; on the eighth floor a Miranda Hobbes type waits for transformation; in the lobby an amateur detective solves a mystery. And then there’s Mackenzie, who says she’s just here to watch. Crying on Television is a comedy about trying to make a connection through a screen and is performed live in front of a studio audience.
The 2nd reading in the reading series is on Saturday, December 7th at 7 pm
UNION by Bob Bartlett

falls in love against the backdrop of the Civil War and Lincoln’s assassination.
