CultureBlast: DC Zines – Uplifting Queer Voices

This June, celebrate Pride at Hillyer with a meet-and-greet with the teams behind some of DC’s most innovative zines showcasing voices from queer communities of color. Connect with editors from DIRT, Homie House Press, MelaNation, and Vănguard to hear about the themes that drive their work, learn about upcoming issues, and find opportunities to submit. CultureBlast: DC Zines – Uplifting Queer Voices is a meet-and-greet event that will bring together writers, editors, and artists behind local DIY publications. This event is presented in partnership with Antonius Bui, currently an Artist-in-Residence at Halcyon Arts Lab in Washington, DC.
