** SUMMER RECESS: July and August DCAVP meetings are in summer break. The next DCAVP meeting is September 28, 7pm.
We will continue to send out emails with various events and any schedule changes. Please email us at email@example.com if you would like to be on the DCAVP mailing list for these community meetings and other anti-violence activities.
The DC Anti-Violence Project (formerly known as GLOV) meets via Zoom. Meetings are open to those seeking support and community around taking a stand against anti-LGBTQIA+ violence. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for the Zoom link.
The primary mission of the DC Anti-Violence Project is to reduce violence against LGBTQIA+ individuals (and those perceived as LGBTQIA+) through community outreach, education, and monitoring cases to ensure that the rights and dignity of LGBTQIA+ survivors of violence and abuse are respected and protected. The DC Anti-Violence Project also seeks to assist survivors of anti-LGBTQIA+ violence by advocating on their behalf, encouraging reporting, and providing a community of support.
