The DC Anti-Violence Project (formerly known as GLOV) meets via Zoom. Meetings are open to those seeking support and community around taking a stand against anti-LGBTQIA+ violence. Email supportdesk@thedccenter.org for the Zoom link.

The primary mission of the DC Anti-Violence Project is to reduce violence against LGBTQIA+ individuals (and those perceived as LGBTQIA+) through community outreach, education, and monitoring cases to ensure that the rights and dignity of LGBTQIA+ survivors of violence and abuse are respected and protected. The DC Anti-Violence Project also seeks to assist survivors of anti-LGBTQIA+ violence by advocating on their behalf, encouraging reporting, and providing a community of support.

DCAVP meetings usually occur on the 4th Thursdays of the month, moving to the 3rd Thursdays in November and December due to the holidays.

Please email us at counseling@thedccenter.org if you would like to be on the DCAVP mailing list for these community meetings and other anti-violence activities.
