Enter the building at the G Street entrance. Judd will be standing inside to the left of the information desk. This is a free tour. It will last 1 hour and 15 minutes.

 

LGBTQ historian and activist, Judd Proctor, a retired elementary school teacher, was born in Richmond, Virginia, in 1950.

In 2005, he launched “The Rainbow Minute,” a radio segment about LGBTQ heroes, history and culture, at WRIR-97.3fm community radio in Richmond. With help from his husband, Brian Burns, he has produced over 2,000 episodes.

         Since moving to the DC area in 2015, Judd has continued his research on LGBTQ history at local museums and libraries.
