Join Muslims for Progressive Values (MPV) DC & the Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRC) for their annual Iftar dinner on Friday, May 31 at 7:45 PM. The event will be keynoted by Khizr Khan, Kazi Mannan, and Ani Zonneveld.
Khizr Khan is the Muslim father of fallen U.S. soldier Humayun Khan, who made national headlines speaking at the 2016 Democratic National Convention. Kazi Mannan is the owner of Sakina Halal Grill, a restaurant in D.C. and has been providing free meals to the homeless since his restaurant opened in 2013. Ani Zonneveld is the president and founder of MPV. Ani is a singer/song writer turned activist who is leading the progressive Muslim movement.
