6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Where

The DC Center for the LGBT Community
2000 14th Street NW Suite 105, Washington, DC, 20009

Event Type

Join us for a Post-Pride Parade Support Group meeting at The DC Center for the LGBT Community. This is a safe, judgment-free space to discuss Pride and any trauma, thoughts, concerns, or challenging emotions you may be experiencing. It will be a unified discussion for the entire LGBTQ community regarding the recent trauma and hyper-vigilance in our local community and nationwide. There will be licensed and trained mental health professionals on site and available. We hope that by coming together in community and sharing our experiences, we can support each other.

There will be two Uniformed MPD Officers from the LGBT Liaison Unit in attendance to answer any questions the community may have involving the incident.

Adam Miramon, M.O.M., Dipl.Ac., L.Ac. from Uptown Acupuncture LLC will be available at the meeting for free acupuncture services during the meeting.
Adam is also offering one free acupuncture treatment to anyone impacted by the events at Dupont Circle. Individuals can book the appointment online at https://provider.kareo.com/adam-miramon and in the note section of an appointment request using the code CAPITAL PRIDE PARADE.

Please reach out to supportdesk@thedccenter.org if you have any questions.
