Time: 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Location: The National LGBTQ Task Force
The upcoming election will be the fight of our lives, and we need your help to Queer the Vote to make sure the issues that matter to us are on everyone’s mind as they go to the polls.
In Florida, over 1.4 million people are permanently excluded from voting because of a previous felony conviction, including tens of thousands of LGBTQ people who are three times more likely to be incarcerated than non-LGBTQ people. We have the power to end 150 years of a broken system this November. We believe in Second Chances. Do you?
Sign up here to join the National LGBTQ Task Force Action Fund for our LGBTQ Advocates for Second Chances Phone Bank on Thursday, October 25th to engage LGBTQ voters in Florida and educate them on Amendment 4 and its importance to our communities. We will be meeting at the Task Force office at 1325 Massachusetts Ave., NW on the 6th floor.
It’s easy to get involved, and training and snacks will be provided. Just bring your phone and laptop! Click here to call Florida voters on Thursday! For more information about either of the phonebanks, please contact Victoria Kim at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This year could be truly historic. But, it’s up to us to protect our rights and make sure our vision for freedom, justice, equity, and equality is realized. Let’s all Queer the Vote!
