Celebrate LGBT Community Pioneers at Virtual Event
Join the Rainbow History Project in recognizing its 2021 Community Pioneers at a virtual celebration on Dec. 9 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Rainbow History is dedicated to preserving the LGBT history of metropolitan Washington, D.C. The thirteen Pioneers are being recognized for their diverse contributions to the LGBT community.
The free virtual event will have special features that reproduce the feeling of attending in-person, such as live streaming and video chatting with other attendees and the Pioneers.
The Dec. 9 virtual celebration is free and open to the public. To attend, go to Community Pioneers Awards. There is a short process to create a profile, so we recommend that you register in advance.
