Dear community,
We are excited to announce that our good friends at Food & Friends have been kind enough to donate Thanksgiving Feasts to the DC Center this year. We are already providing pre-packaged individual meals from Wegman’s, and so we’re going to be passing these meals along to community members to allow them to host a thanksgiving feast!
There are five (5) Thanksgiving feasts available – here’s a picture of a recent Thanksgiving Feast to help gauge the amount of food.
Similar to our Hungry Harvest food lottery, we are opening this opportunity for a short time and then picking from among everyone who RSVPd at random to assign the meals. Pickup will be on Wednesday, November 22nd from 12 – 8 pm at the DC LGBTQ+ Community Center (2000 14th Street NW, Suite 105).
