The DC Center for the LGBT Community invites you to celebrate with some cocktails and toast the new LGBTQ Community Center with a special night at our Spring Cocktail Celebration in the Dupont Underground event gallery. We’re excited to bring the community together with an in-person event as we prepare to say goodbye to the old and hello to the new location this summer. Enjoy a gathering of friends, family, supporters and good vibes with entertainment including music by DJ Jake Maxwell, special guest performances, plus an open bar for the first hour.
The Spring Cocktail Celebration will raise funds to support The DC Center’s upcoming relocation and new space renovation. Plus, you’ll be the first to have a sneak peek at the spectacular new floor plans and office layout as only can be experienced in the Dupont Underground.

About The New LGBTQ Community Center:
The new LGBTQ Community Center will encompass 6,671 square feet, currently being designed for buildout with The DC Center’s specific needs for the community in mind. It will include ten offices and multiple co-working stations. The new Community Center will be larger than The DC Center’s current location and will allow an increase in community and service outreach, capacity, and implementation as well as the opportunity to sublease office and desk space to other LGBTQ+ nonprofits. Confirmed to share the space are Wanda Alston Foundation, Rainbow Families, and G3 Associates. The new Community Center will go above and beyond ADA requirements to ensure inclusivity, accessibility, and comfort for all.
